don't forget to vote

I forgot to mention that if you can please get out and vote. Seems to me this is a right and duty we often forget or think will not make a difference. I think we often think only one vote does not count but it does. Remember many people have fought and died for this right and we need to use it.

Gone but not forgotten

Well, it has been a pretty busy time both at work and at home. As I told you I'm a Grandma! Here is a three generation picture, my mother, me and Paige. We have a four generation just need to get a copy.

Other than the baby things have been busy getting ready for fall and the holidays. Here at work we have been busy getting ready for the Friends of the Library board meeting, the ACPL Foundation meeting and newsreleases(we send out over 25 pages each month!) the What's Happening calendar, all those posters and fliers you receive from outside agencies etc.

I hope all of you are enjoying Library 2.0 and are learning even more about how to use technology in your daily life. I know I am.(well at least I am trying)

She is Here!

This is my new love, Paige Gloria Brindle, my first grandchild. Isn't she great!

She was born yesterday at 7:10 p.m.

I'm almost a Grandma

Well, as I type my daughter Lisa and her husband Gabe are at the hospital about to have their first baby and my first grandchild. It is pretty exciting. My guess is I will have photos to post soon! Everyone tells me this is a wonderful time so I'm looking forward to it!

No Baby Yet

Well, no baby yet! Guess we just have to be patient and know that it will be born when it is good and ready. I really don't care, all I want is a healthy happy child.

Weekend

Well, it is the weekend. Hope everyone enjoys themselves and has a great time. I will be pacing a bit this weekend. My daughter is due to have a baby next week--we will see if the Dr is right on this one!

I'm tired

This is Apollo. Apollo did not sleep well last night, he gets to sleep today, I get to work today.
Apollo is why I am tired. It is great to have a place to vent.
